Adam & Nicky
Adam & Nicky contacted me after seeing the results of my previous wedding I had done for Chris and Liz. Nicky works with Chris and when she went through their photos she made the call to meet. After a quick coffee in Richmond we exchanged details and prepared for that wonderful day.
The day began at Nickys house with a niece who just didn't want to get dressed no matter how fancy everyone else was looking. No bribe was going to work here.

One of my favorite shots of the day was when Nicky walked down the stairs to greet me at the door. Standing next to her was a large pure bred German Shepherd with that "Who the heck are you" look in its face. I snapped away before I became lunch to make sure I atleast captured something on the day.

When the young ones are all ready, their beauty really shines. Look at those eyes.

It's always nice to see big smiles. Why wouldn't they be smiling on a day such as this.

The contrast between the bride and groom preparing was very evident.

One thing to remember about a wedding day is that there is a lot of walking to be done. Come prepared.

The venue for the wedding was Como House in Melbourne, Victoria. A beautiful historic mansion just a few beats away from the heart of the city boasting one of Melbournes finest gardens, especially in this current climate we are having.

With the ceremony over, Adam & Nicky are now officially presented as husband and wife and their excitement shows.

Before heading into the reception area, a quick stop in the cafe on the grounds of the estate so everyone can take a quick intermission before dinner.

With the bridal party now joining family and friends in the dining room, the formalities begin.

Even as the photographer, I got to learn so much about Adam & Nicky through the speeches. I laughed a lot and also shed a tear too. It really was a great set of speeches from all involved. The laughter was everywhere and Nickys mum was a sight to behold. She was wonderful.

With dinner over, the dance floor was opened up in the small marquee attached to the side of the dining room and the fun cranked up a notch.

These were a great bunch of people and they made my evening all the more relaxing.

Thank you again Adam & Nicky for choosing me as your photographer. It was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with you and if I could do it all over again I would. I hope you relive your special day through the memories I have captured as I continue to do so each time I see the photos myself.
